Wedding Look #1

In my last post, I talked about how I had quite a few weddings to attend this year and how I've resolved NOT buying a bunch of different dresses for each one. I decided on taking one dress from #OldNavy and styling in different ways. This is look #1. The couple getting married are stylish and classy so I wanted a cute, modest look. \

Yes I had my hair braided all around my head. It's becoming my "go to" style as of late.

Multiple Weddings This Year?

Being in my mid 20's, I'm finding that many of my friends are tying the knot. This year, I have 6 friends doing so. I'm not scheduled to be in any of the weddings, however I may find myself at a few of them. Of course, I want to look my best but I don't want to break the bank. That's when I got the bright idea to take a simple dress and accessorize it different ways.

I'll be accessorizing it with a long strand of peals and white pumps for the more "conservative" weddings I'll be attending while I'll be wear cheetah and black pumps for my more "liberal" events. So excited to take pictures to show you all these different looks!

Girls Night Out Cruise

Recently I went out with one of my little sister to celebrate her birthday.
Doing a late night cruise over Easter Weekend was not my choice at all but I'm always game to dress up!

I braided my natural hair down and put wig over it.

Dress: Forever 21+'s "Taffeta Strapless Peplum Special Occasion Dress" - $32.80

Wig: Vivica A. Fox's Javant Synthetic Lace Front Wig (It's online for about $50 but I caught mine on sale at a local beauty supply story for $20).

Inaugural Post

I am BEYOND excited to start this blog!

I love the glitz and glam that is "fashion" and I thought it would be a GREAT idea to put all my thoughts in one place.

My blog is going to be a little different from other blogs because it isn't just going to be a "PLUS" blog or a "Straight" blog but because I fit both, you'll see a little bit of both. I shop at a lot of different places. I'm 5'9 so tall/long inseams and sleeves are a necessity! I find that Gap Inc Stores. have plenty to chose from. I also have loved shopping stores like Delia's for over 10 years now! I can't wait to start sharing as I start shopping for spring and summer.

I can't wait to get to know you all as my readers to see if I can help you solve some of your fashion questions. I've been working retail and modeling for a while so I know some tricks of the trade.
